16th Annual Scholarship Golf Classic

Our Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament is Monday, Sept. 15,
2008. This is the off week for the Gator Football Team. We
have a new location this year. The tournament will be at
Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell. The golf course
features five holes along the historic Chattahoochee River,
with more than two miles of beautiful river frontage.
Danny Wuerffel is our 2008 Honorary Chairman,
and is scheduled to play.
You can play in the same foursome with Danny.
We are holding an auction for the opportunity for 3 golfers
to play with Danny in the tournament.

Danny is the Executive Director of Desire Street Ministries.
Desire Street Ministries has recently relocated their
executive offices to Atlanta. Danny led the Gators to four
SEC championships and a National title. He also won 1996 Heisman trophy, and the Draddy award (for the nation's top

Invasion - AGC Bus Trip

$50 for UFAA Members and $60 for non-members
Hey Gators, Planning on
traveling up to Knoxville for the UF vs. Tennessee football
game? Why not save your gas and travel aboard the Atlanta
Gator Club Game Coach? Don't worry about traffic and
parking! Just sit back and relax, watch a Gator highlight
DVD, and sip on your favorite beverages with fellow Gators.
The Coach will depart
from the Smyrna/Marietta area to drop us off at Neyland
Stadium an hour and half prior to game time and leave the
stadium 30 minutes after the game ends. Once the game time
is made official, an email will be sent to all riders with
specific departure time and location. The cost for the trip:
$50 for UF Alumni Association members and $60 for

2008 Gator Eight Networking Breakfasts
The
Gator Eight is a continuing
series of networking breakfasts hosted
by the Gators for Business arm of the Atlanta Gator
Club. Its purpose is to provide a forum in which our
members can get to know each other, promote their
businesses, and learn about the businesses of fellow
Gators. Participation is limited
to eight Gators at each event so that there will be
sufficient time to get to know a little something about
everyone at the table.
